Why Your A/C Leak?
Air conditioning damage that is leaking water is a problem that often occurs in air conditioning units. So, almost certainly all users of this air conditioner have experienced it. This is also not serious damage. However, if left unchecked and not repaired immediately it can cause more severe damage. Therefore, it is advisable to immediately take corrective action or use englewood a/c service if the air conditioner has started dripping water in the indoor unit.
Because the air conditioner leaks water in addition to having a technical negative impact, it can also interfere with user comfort. For example, water ‘seeps’ on the wall, especially this wall already uses wallpaper. Of course, this can damage and reduce the quality of the wallpaper, right? In addition, if the air conditioner is installed directly above the window, the air conditioner will drip onto the curtains and make them wet. Not to mention this can make the floor wet and ‘muddy’, of course when the air conditioner leaks it can disturb the comfort of the occupants of the house or room.
In essence, leaking air conditioners are caused by a sewer that is not smooth, and this can be caused by many factors. Some of them are as follows:
1. Along with the use of the air conditioner, this makes the air conditioner dirty. Dirt such as dust or other small particles will stick to the evaporator, then it will flow with the water from the cooling process through the drain. Over time the dirt will accumulate and clog the sewer, so that water cannot be wasted through the sewer. The solution is we have to clean the drain so that all the dirt that clogs it is thrown out. You can do this by shooting high-pressure water into the drain hole.
2. For the drain water to flow smoothly, make sure the end of the drainpipe is made lower than the center of the drain in the indoor unit. And if the drain uses a hose, please make sure there are no ‘bent’ parts of the hose. To solve this problem, we have to make a slope drain installation. This means that the end of the drainpipe or hose must be lower than the exhaust center in the indoor unit.
